What is the Rise School?

The Rise School of San Antonio is a 501c3 that will provide the highest quality of early educational services to children ages six months to six years. At Rise, about 50% of children have disabilities and the other 50% are traditional learners, or children without disabilities. The inclusion of children of differing abilities is shown to be beneficial to both groups of children and is core to the school’s mission. Rise also provides speech/language, physical, occupational and music therapies to ensure that our students get the full range of developmental support they need.

Rise delivers intensive education, intervention, and therapy during the entire formative infant, toddler, and preschool years in a school-wide integrated environment. All children benefit from integrated education and therapies in the classroom. The need for The Rise School is great, as there are few resources that address the needs of families and children with developmental delays between 12 months and six years in our community.
Rise serves children aged 12-months through pre-kindergarten. Most children will finish the Rise program by age 5, while others will graduate at age 6.
